Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Roamify mobile app and the theroamify.com website (together, the “Service”), provided by [Full name / Company name] (“Roamify”, “we”). By using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If there is any inconsistency, the Turkish version of these terms prevails.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service; if you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
• You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secret. Tell us right away if you notice unauthorized use.
• Usernames that impersonate others or are misleading or offensive are not allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time.

2. Your content

Your routes, photos, comments and other content belong to you. By uploading content you grant Roamify a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize photos), publish and display it — including in shared links — in order to operate, promote and improve the Service. This license ends within a reasonable time (including removal from backups) after you delete the content or your account.

You confirm that you hold all rights needed for everything you upload and that it complies with these terms.

3. Content rules

You may not share:

• Photos, text or other works that belong to someone else and that you have no permission to use.
• Other people's personal data: photos of identifiable people without their consent, private home addresses, phone numbers and similar.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, violence or sexual content.
• Routes that encourage illegal activity, trespassing on private property or entering closed or prohibited areas.
• Knowingly false or misleading information that could endanger anyone's safety.
• Advertising, spam, fake ratings or comments, or attempts to disrupt the Service.

4. Review and moderation

Routes are reviewed by our team before they are published. We may decline, remove or ask you to change content we believe breaks these terms, and warn, suspend or permanently close accounts that break the rules. We tell you why a route was rejected in the app. Reviewing content does not mean we guarantee its accuracy.

5. Copyright and infringement notices

If you believe content infringes your rights, use “Report” in the app or email iletisim@theroamify.com with: the work you believe is infringed, a link to the content, a statement that you own the rights, and your contact details. We review notices promptly and remove content we find infringing. Repeat infringers' accounts are closed.

6. Your safety is in your hands

Routes are created by users. Distances and times are estimates; paths, weather, opening hours and access can change. Check conditions before you go, follow traffic rules and local regulations, and take care of your own health and safety. Do not interact with your phone while driving.

7. Premium and payments

• Some features (for example Nearby Routes and Track My Progress) are part of Premium. Premium subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play; payment, renewal and refunds follow that store's terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings; deleting your Roamify account does not cancel it.
• Premium features can also be unlocked temporarily by watching a short ad; the duration is shown in the app.
• Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Ads

The free version may show third-party ads. Advertisers are responsible for the products and services they advertise.

9. Intellectual property

The Roamify name, logo, app design and software belong to us. Apart from user content, you may not copy, modify or reverse engineer them without our permission. Bulk collection of data from the Service by automated means is prohibited.

10. Availability and liability

We work to keep the Service available and error-free but cannot guarantee it; maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control may interrupt it. Except for intent and gross negligence, we are not liable for the accuracy of user content or for damage arising from trips made in reliance on it. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

11. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may close your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers may bring disputes before the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts competent under Turkish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence.
